I really was great to see Boney M's first appearance on TOTP on BBC 4 last night. So good to see how it all started with a fantastic live vocal from Liz and Marcia to a hillariously awful rerecorded backing track, as required by the musicians union rules back then. Bobby 'sang' live too which was well..............not great but hey he never was a singer but he certainly had all the moves and gave a great performances. Im really excited about reliving Boney Ms glory years on TOTP over the next couple of years. Most of the other acts on the show were great to re live too.

Hi ! I think the musicians were also live with Boney M. - there was no backing track. Yes I'm looking forward to all these episodes of TOTP too ! Most of the music's really good! I think their performance ( including Bobby ) of ' Daddy Cool ' is awesome ( how state side of me ). I'm looking forward to seeing ' Sunny ' performed ( around the end of March into April ? ).

I think Bobby was in leopard skin boots for this one !
