MARCIA'S NEW ALBUM

I have that Marcia is collecting songs for a new album whilst in Florida preparing for upcoming shows. Does anybody have any ideas on songs for her to cover?

I'd love to hear her sing something from Joan Armatrading's back catalogue. Something like 'Drop The Pilot' or 'I Love It When You Call Me Names', or how about Grace Jones's 'My Jamaican Guy' ?

Hi John, i don't know much about Joan A. but My Jamaican Guy was very well chosen. What's about Patti Labelle's ''On my own'' or and that's no joke ,Culture Club's It's a miracle ?

'On My Own' is a great song, and the title would be appropriate, but do you think that power ballads would be Marcia's thing? I'd like to hear a new version of her 1981 single 'You'.

Hmmh, why not. She surely couldn't do it in the Patti way. But i remember her singing live Big Spender and that's great. So i think she could stamp her personalty on this one too.
